Hi Scott
Where are you located?
Hello Scott, My system travels :) I set it up outside during the Michigan growing season and set up a small system to "over winter" in my garage. I do not get anywhere near the amount of vegetable production inside, but I also try to use little power and just focus on keeping my fish alive as well as breeding new ones for next year outdoors. If you were to use grow lights, a basement system will be more expensive to run and require a bit more attention, but it will work fine as there are lots of indoor and warehouse operations. Sweetwater is a great example in Wisconsin
