Hey Roger...welcome to the site/forum. Those are actually 8' livestock feeders I got from this site:http://www.2kreeksranch.com/ They were about $55.00 each not including shipping. Pretty cheap shipping too via Fedex and nice people (Larry). They are not as deep as I would like but they work for my purposes on this project (had to go verticle cuz of space). You will have to plug the pre drilled little drain holes with whatever you can come up with (I used rubber washers and a couple of sheet metal screws from Home Depot) unless you drill one of your tank return drains where the hole is already drilled.
Thanks for joining the Aquaponic Gardening community! I hope you find it a fun place to explore aquaponics. There is a real blend of experienced and new aquapons in this community, so please don’t hesitate to get in there and start asking questions. Everyone is quite happy to help out new members – no question is too basic.
A great place to start is to read the “How to Use This Site” link on the upper right corner, “Start Here” section of the Main page.
Please add a photo of yourself and participate!
Thanks again for joining us, and I look forward to getting to know you.
