Hi,
I am responsible for R&D at Growstone, a company based in NM, which manufactures a highly porous aggregate-type substrate made from recycled glass - Growstones.
I am interested in being a part of, learn from and possibly contribute to the discussion on growing media alternatives for Aquaponics, with positive feedback. Big emphasis on the learning part.

I have started this reply 3 times now and before I finish the screen starts loading something and everything goes away and I have to start over. Anyway I will be assembling my project this weekend and hope to start cycling by next weekend. What is the availability, and how much for how much? My e-mail is kentevans@bellsouth.net. I drive thru Sandford every day. Let me know.

Thank you,

Kent

"Hello Paula" Welcome to the community.

I wonder if the grow stones you speak of are the same stones that are said to be used as a growing media for aquaponics. I am about to start a grow system with a 150 gal. fish tank and two 50 gal. grow beds and a grow media is near the top of my list of things I must acquire.
