If you found us through a search engine, what search words were you using?: aquaponic gardening

Please tell us something else about yourself.: I currently work in computers, but I am looking to do something different. I have been reading and speaking with people about hydroponics, but this is the first time I've heard of aquaponic gardening. I would like to learn more on how to start a aquaponic garden, This is not just to learn but to gain a better life style with what I've learned to help myself and others. I would like more information on the internship program.

At 7:21am on November 16, 2010, TCLynx said…: I've heard of internship programs at Morningstar Fishermen here in FL and also a program at Friendlies in HI so you might do some searching/digging into info about them since I don't think either one really spends much time on here. And Sylvia's recommendation about starting a thread in Jobs is also a good idea to catch info from the people who do come on enough to see new posts often.

I know that most all of the commercial aquaponics operations take on interns once and a while. Good luck!

There is a real blend of experienced and new aquapons in this community, so please don’t hesitate to get in there and start asking questions. Everyone is quite happy to help out new members – no question is too basic.
