Please tell us something else about yourself.
My name is Matt and I'm a nursing student who lives in Denver. My wife and I have been interested in aquaponics for a little over a year now and have set up our own system in our little one bedroom apartment. It has been running since October. We are very excited to be able to talk with other people that share an interest in aquaponics and might be able to give us beginners some much needed advice!
Matthew, we are up in Boulder and will be having an open house in our greenhouse Feb 4 from 1 - 4 that you might want to join us for. Also, I'm going to be teaching a class on Aquaponic Gardening in march. You can see info on both here - http://theaquaponicsource.com/
Thanks for joining the Aquaponic Gardening community! I hope you find it a fun place to explore aquaponics. There is a real blend of experienced and new aquapons in this community, so please don’t hesitate to join in. Always thrilled to have experienced growers join us – please post some photos of your system!
A great place to start is to read the “How to Use This Site” link on the upper right corner, “Start Here” section of the Home page.
Please participate and check in with us every day! We are constantly posting news about aquaponics and the good food movement.
Thanks again for joining us, and I look forward to getting to know you.
