I'm an old fart, but not a mean old fart. I'm a fat guy, but not too jolly. Being retired gives me a lot of time to think, to read, and to research on the net.
You can get a lot of good training watching the YouTube videos, and reading blogs. I've really improved my cooking as I read and then put into practice the teaching and the recipes I've downloaded. I find myself looking at other stuff as well. Peak oil, restoring the soil,…

Hello Lloyd,
I'm on Bainbridge Island doing an internship on an organic farm, and the farmer who I'm working for wants to get the ball rolling on setting up an aquaponics system in one of his greenhouses. We want to grow tilapia, and even though you're into catfish, I was wondering if it would be possible for us to come by to see what your set-up is like so far? None of us have any experience in aquaponics, and it would be great to see and talk to someone who is so close by and also trying to figure it all out! My email address is elizzzthomas@gmail.com, please let me know if you would be open to this!
Hi Lloyd -
Phil here, a new member. I live in Poulsbo. Do you have any catfish for sale? I want to stock my pond with a few.
Best,
