Hi Kent, They are little fingerlings so if you have 100g to work with you could safely put around 25 of them in your main tank.
Hello Kent, I'm in downtown Orlando and have blue tilapia fingerlings. Not sure how many I have but it's probably around forty or so.
Kent, here is a link which contains a summary of results from a trial on Aquaculture, in which Growstones were used as a biofilter in system to grow tilapia. Growstones performance was evaluated and compared to bioballs and bio beads.

Yes I believe I we are talking about the same Growstones!
I am the R&D Director for Growstone, and Sylivia very graciously invited me to become a member to learn and be a support tool for those aquapons looking for alternative media for their Aquaponic Gardens. I am very interested in learning more about Aquaponics from the real sources who deal with its issue in real life everyday.
To your point - we have tested Growstones as a biofliter for Aquaculture systems at the University of Arizona, Tucson, growing tilapia, with great success regarding all parameter, from water quality to fish growth rates.
