I am an inventor working on ways to monitor and automate aquaponic gardens. I am writing a book on how to do this. You can search for David Leithauser on Amazon.com to see some of the books I have written on other subjects. I would love to see your aquaponic garden if that is possible. I come to New Smyrna several times a month to visit my father there. I can be reached directly at Leithauser@aol.com.
Florida just requires turning your gardening calender upside down or inside out in a manner of speaking. Winter here is for all the cool weather crops that are normally fall and spring in most of the rest of the country.
Fall and spring here are for most of the warm weather crops from most of the rest of the country.
And summer is for hiding in the air conditioning for many people but the adventurous will try growing the real HOT weather crops or some tropical plants when it is too hot for much else.

Normally Sylvia Bernstein, the community's founder, would be welcoming you, but she is vacationing in Japan and I am helping out by welcoming new members in her absence. I am certain she would be excited to have you join and she will be looking forward to getting to know you upon her return.
Thanks again for joining us, and I too look forward to getting to know you too. See you around the site!
