I currently am using 55 gallon barrels and one 55 gallon aquarium. I have 25 Tilapia in the Aquarium (trying to breed them) and I have about 15 or 20 gold fish and 2 koi in the 55 barrel. I just stared these systems early this year but I tried Hydroponics last year, I didn't like how much the Nuets cost and I see them as chemicals so if I am going to eat the food I would prefer natural.

I can give ideas I have tried. I find it difficult to keep the systems running while on vacation. feeding the fish is the biggest problem. I am currently trying to design a auto feeder that should last for min 2 weeks. Drop me a line and I would like to see your set up. kelrich@comcast.net
