I'm John, an expat from the United States who lives in Costa Rica. I'm wanting to start a small aquaponic garden in my house, growing herbs and spices at first. As I come to understand more about it I would like to build a bigger system that could yield crawfish as well as catfish and an array of fruits and veggies. I am also toying with the idea of running the house system off of solar power, just to see if I can do it. Seems like it will turn into a fun, economical and profitable hobby.
