not yet, but there's a 120 tank in the garage--goldfish or coral, hmmmm?
If so, what type of system? (pick all that apply)
We have a small saltwater tank that was going to grow into a big one--costs lots of money, and won't give much back except the relaxation of watching fish swim and coral grow. I love goldfish, but haven't kept them in ages because they require such extensive filtration to keep the tank clean. Our present salt tank has shown us what can happen when macroalgae are well supplied with nitrogen, as in the "cycling in" phase of the ammonia/nitrogen cycle. Growth was amazing, but has slowed down since the ecosystem has reached a balanced point. I'm VERY interested in the possibilty of growing food with goldfish.
Please tell us something else about yourself.
We also make soap which is dye, phthalate, sulfate, and surfactant FREE, and helps solve dry, itchy skin problems. Some of our scents are vegan, and we have a formulation with no nut oils which is unscented. Ask me and I can send the URL, but won't directly advertise on this site.

Thanks for the friending- yeah, I've got a provisional patent on the vertical towers right now- i'd like to sell them- working on a plan for that. i'll check out that website- i'm a researcher, not a business person, i need all the help i can get!
well, i have a ton of work at the greenhouse today- a jungle of lettuce to hack out.
What a fascinating name, and a wonderful story about your saltwater tank. You actually were growing aquaponically...just not food.
Thanks for joining the Aquaponic Gardening community! I hope you find it a great place to meet fellow aquapons, share videos and photos, chat, and learn. I’ve started the ball rolling with a few general forum topics, and will try to add more on a regular basis, but I’m hoping that you and others will add your own topics as they occur to you. I’ve also added some of my favorite videos and a few random photos…again, please share your favorites with us!
We have just a few simple rules: stay on the subject of aquaponics and keep it cordial (no flaming!). If someone decides to break these rules they will get a warning, and then be banned from the community after that. But of course I’m hoping that never happens!
I’m new to forum management and this is a new forum, so any and all suggestions are welcome.
Please invite all your aquaponic friends to join us (Facebook? Twitter?). We need a ton of people in here so we can really get rolling!
Thanks again for joining us, and I look forward to getting to know you.
