Julianne here from NE Georgia. I am going to be in Tallahassee the end of next week with my niece (who's doing an internship with me) and a couple of friends. Might you be willing to show us your system? I'm in the design stage and it's really helpful for me to see things in person in order to get a handle on them. We are also going to be stopping in at Chris Taylor's place in Whigham, GA (Swamp Creek Farm) and hopefully a couple of others. Nothing like "inviting myself", but if it brings you joy to share what you've done, I'd greatly appreciate the opportunity to look and learn. (PS We're nice, normal folk -- well, maybe normal is a stretch - but nice, definitely!) Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks!
Sure thing Bradley. I see you were introduced to ap by Charlie Schultz. I just had the pleasure of meeting him in Vegas a few weeks ago. Great guy! I can also relate to your obsession. I must warn you it doesn't get any better! ;-)
Thanks for joining the Aquaponic Gardening community! I hope you find it a fun place to explore aquaponics. There is a real blend of experienced and new aquapons in this community, so please don’t hesitate to join in. Always thrilled to have experienced growers join us – please post some photos of your system!
A great place to start is to read the “How to Use This Site” link on the upper right corner, “Start Here” section of the Home page.
Please participate and check in with us every day! We are constantly posting news about aquaponics and the good food movement.
Normally Sylvia Bernstein, the community's founder, would be welcoming you, but she is vacationing in Japan and I am helping out by welcoming new members in her absence. I am certain she would be excited to have you join and she will be looking forward to getting to know you upon her return.
Thanks again for joining us, and I too look forward to getting to know you. See you around the site!
