No, those are just water tanks. They are HDPE plastic on the inside and fiberglass outside. They were gotten from a dumpster behind a place that sells/services/installs and removes water softener systems. Apparently when people stop paying the bills on their water softener service, the company just re-pos them and throws the tanks in the trash.
I have to admit that the fiberglass on the outside of many of these tanks was kinda exposed and they are nasty to handle, hence the pain on the outside so we are not itching from fiberglass whenever we go near them.
