Typical valley soil profile
South slopes and valley bottoms have relatively thin layer of leaf-mold top soil. As you can see there are a lot of rocks of varying sizes and soil blown in from the spring dust storms from the Gobi dessert.

Thanks Vlad! Yeah buddy, long time no talk. I didn't feel like most people were interested in my holistic approach to AP with my now proven "Swamp-thing" concept so kind of shied away.
