Actually I was mistaken- the strawberry variety is Temptation Everbearing. I haven't had much luck with the strawberries in either of the systems, Although, they do great in the ground. I've had the same patch for three years without replanting and they keep producing fruit all summer long. My 2 year old

My son has exclusive rights to all ripe berries- and he knows it!

I live in the Caribbean and I just got a few strawberries to germinate and I'm hoping to get them to fruit.  Our temperature is about 86 degrees F and I'm hoping to get some pointers from someone who is already doing it.  I'm not sure of the variety that I have but I will definitely take a look and let you know.

This is a verticle tower- The medium is a mix of perlite and Worm castings blended with Fox Farms Ocean Forest Soil. Strawberry variety is Sequia junebearing strawberry- I use the fish water on all of my soil plants as well.

What medium are you using here?  What variety is that?
