My website link is in my profile.  As to strains im working with, i have a really large database of about 40 proven shiitake strains from all around the world.  Right now im running mainly shiitake 75 from aloha medicinals, as well as others to find the best strain for my environment. I have about 6 oyster strains (one of which is our own isolated strains "213"),  king oyster KO1, a lions mane, a turkey tail and others.  You can definatly grow on pine shavings, just got to match the right strain and culture techniques.  If you can mix a little hardwood in there youll be able to grow many more strains.  Stamets is the man!  but his books are pretty old and outdated, so dont get hung up on everything in there.   Many things that he frowns upon in there myself and others do regularly with success.  Good luck with your mushrooms ventures.

Impressed.  Just read Stamets books and waiting on a mycology text from amazon.  If you have a website, i'l like to visit it.  Curious to see what strains you are working with.  Wish there was a strain I could grow on pine shavings.  I have much of it.

I make my own fruiting blocks and spawn.  I have a lab, and can produce spawn, master cultures, or grow kits for other growers as well.  The sawdust is from a local sawmill 5 miles away and it contains mostly oak, hickory, cherry, and a little pine and walnut.  I then add OG wheat bran and gypsum at set ratios.  All this is dry mixed, moistened and mixed, loaded into filter-patch bags, and sterilized in a autoclave at 20PSI for 2 hrs.
