Teresa, the passion fruit is in 19 mm crushed garvel with an auto-siphon.  It was continuous flow last season, and times flow (once every hour) this season.  So far the siphon has not clogged. The sand bed is surface trickling, and is in its first season (experimental). It was flood and drain at first but that did not work well.

Hi Kobus,  Yes, that IS a monster.  Since I know you have various GB setups, what do you have the passion fruit growing in? Is that in a sand bed with surface trickling?  How long has it been growing, (1 season, 2 seasons)?
