studies are showing this new device is giving 20 - 30% increases in yields. As far as i know this is the first AP study with the Biowave. keep an eye out for updates!

when he came to pick up the one he loaned me, it was because he had a back order on them at the time... http://www.biowavecolorado.com/Independent_Studies.html
PS Is that company still in service and do you think he might send me one to test?
I see. Thanks for your reply. I like Dr. Lynette Morgan's work, esp. in the old days before I got into AP and sustainability. I did some experiments myself using insect chirp and bird call recording as my trigger to open the plant's stomata and accompanied it with a bacteria laden compost tea foliar spray. At the time I did this I actually got better results doing straight hydroponics than with organic. Unfortunately I haven't had time or money to get into it deeper.
BTW: how is your project going? mine has been fraught with delays and unexpected challenges, esp. with capital. Take care my friend.
Cheers
@Carey..
I didn't do any type of controlled testing.. so im really not sure..
I told the guy who had me test it the same.. I have so much growth already that I couldn't tell any difference.
but others have sworn that they see up to 30% increases in yields.
Dr. Lynette Morgan reported a 27% increase in tomato studies.
Just a quick note to thank you for all the great photos. My system is totally neglected right now as all our energy is going into the new house but we harvested our first delicious trout this week so it is taking pretty good care of itself for the moment. Your pics give us all something to live up to. Keep them coming brother!
So Rob...Does it work?
im really excited if this works.....just study about stomata opening mechanism in physiology class. would be cool to tell my professor that he have to add something new to his handouts :D
@ Elizabeth: Well I don't know about Rob's aparatus but the difference in our study isn't that great, but noticeable. All it does is open the stigmata so the plants can absorb more nutrient in the form of foliar spray so plants are at their peak performance.
@ Jonathan: I am interested in magnetic effects. I have experimented with elctroculture some and find it...helpful.
Rob, this will be a great study. IF plant growth really can be increased with acoustic energy (as some folks claim) it could have a profound effect on world food production, especially in harsher climates. Not to mention being just plain cool. I eagerly await the results of your study.
Elizabeth, im not sure what the frequency is. it doesnt make a lot of noise, just the spinning of the motor. if you put your hand close enough, you can feel a bit of a pulse. its just a cage spinnig inside of another cage. i do think ive noticed the tomatoes growing faster. when i get to the new location, i plan to do a control test and will report the findings.
