Yeah, that is funny; plant, worms and man become One.  Tim at Freindly AP said, "You can drink the water".  The flora in me is probably a lot like in my Vermi system.

I feel a lot better since i'm getting real vegetables for the first time in 50 years.

My cuke bucket has grown a solid mass of roots so tight that air barely bubbles through it.  If i had grown cukes in my tub it would have displaced everything else.

It's kinda funny - all I think about is my fish pooping and worms eating & so on....

Ya Myco- careful they have a tendency to CONTINUE GROWING & the roots just may END UP IN YERFISHESARSE! They be like little fish on leashes- PPLEASE find some humor in it! I did! Seriously the roots can end up clogging the system, I'm kinda wondering if I made a mistake by adding (Great White)myco & trichoderma to my growbeds as they are only 6" deep. I mixed a gallon & then hand poured a lil bit of it at bases of each plant..

Nice roots.  I used these peat-pods, for the 1st time this year.  Here's last December and then January, in the other bed - lettuce.  I was surprised, a bunch of them didn't do anything, but I don't heat the water, so it was probably a tad bit cold on those baby roots.
