Side view showing the outflow from fish tank.  Outflow tube is 1-1/4" reduced to 1" into 90's.  I"m using caps with a 3/8" hole to restrict flow, which allows beds to fill nice and steady, and also allows the siphon cycle to break!  (unrestricted 1" flow was replenishing water too quickly for siphons to break cycle, so they'd constantly be funneling out!)
