I have been using Botanicare's Pure Blend Pro Grow Vegetative Formula 3-2-4

 

I am also using an EcoAir pump, which appears to work very well for this type of indoor application.

 

I am going to set one of these deep water culture bins up with vermicast in a paint strainer bag pretty soon to experiment with vermiponics. If I can make it work, my nutrient cost will be much lower (nearly nothing compared to $19 plus tax per each 5 weeks in these 40 gallons).
