One of our first ripe Ghost Chilis. Supposedly the hottest chili in the world at around 1.2 million scobel units. First aquaponic ghost chili maybe? I don't know if it is, but that would be cool.

Thanks for the tip Chris- bummer not to be the first AP ghost chili grower.  I should have known one of you crazy Hawaiians would have been doing this for a while.    I'll use gloves for sure.  The leaves even smell hot.  Any more tips on growing?  This is our first experiment with ghost chilis.

Your not the first to grow the ghost pepper in aquaponics. I have had my plant growing for more than a year and a half. I have harvested hundreds of peepers during that time. If you cut a pepper USE GLOVES!!!!. The oil can penetrate your skin and burn you later now matter how many times you wash your hands. I learned this the hard way!.
