we bought the plant from Lowes  and it was in a little 3 inch pot--it has tripled in size in 4 months--we got the plant and washed the root system off really good before we put it in our system.  we also have 2 pinapples and a banana tree (we just planted  about 2 weeks ago) growing in the system.
