Yeah I think it was a water bottle at one time. I cut a tight fit for the inch and a quarter pipe. I slid it onto the pipe and hit it with a torch for few heartbeats. It shrunk fit tightly and works well. The siphon starts really quick and drains violently. You can hear a couple of really loud slurps at each cycle. I think I hear gravel move each time.

Hey, I like that water bottle accumulator on your standpipe. I had to double-take, thinking at first it was the light deflection from water overflowing into it.
