Yes, the water level varies as I don't have a sump pump in this set-up. However, I am hoping that the levels will be sufficient with this 300g tank. The grow-beds take only about 10 to 12 minutes to fill with about a 7 minute drain for each.

The system is still cycling so I don't have any fish yet. I suspect it will be ready for a few fish in roughly 3 weeks.

Very attractive system!  You paid a lot of attention to the aesthetics. 

How is this working out for you?  Are you finding any problems with the water level in the fish tank.?
