Thanks, it's a life time of saving, and right now I believe we will all have to start raising our own food. In China you already know this. But here in the USA they don't. We are totally spoiled brats, thinking we can just go down to the corner Walmart and get what we want. No longer the writing is on the wall.

The Root Cellar is completely underground with approximately 1 to 2 feet. The roof is constructed of 8 inches of concrete, re-bar, angle iron, and 38,000 lbs of concrete.  It is all supported on the inside by 4 x 6 pressure treated lumber on 16" centers, and support beams. The outside is totally encased in high density foam insulation. 3" thick.

Does this root cellar reach underground?
