This was a cutting from our sweet basil outside. I am attempting cuttings will all the plants except lettuce, that I am starting from seed in the bed.
The cuttings above were covered with half a soda bottle ( I think there are pictures in the album with that) Kept that on there for 2 weeks and checked to find the roots have started. I did raise the flood level to just below the surface of the hydrocorn to make sure adequate water was making it the plants.
On a failure note the same processes was used with Grape Tomatoes and they rotted, the ones with out the cover are still alive but no visible roots yet.

I assume you started this in your grow bed. Did you cover it with a jar to keep the humidity high or do anything else to insure the success?
