We have a rather large supply of indoor grown duckweed available right now,  I am willing to sell packages of 1/2 cup for 6 bucks, (continental u.s. only please, I will pay the shipping), or larger quantities are available, just fire me a message, with what you want and we can go from there.

I have a HUGE, 12,000 gallon HDXPE (high density cross-linked polyethylene) tank available, that I thought I could use in an aquaponics project, but it is just too big for my purposes.  Dimensions: About 12 feet in diameter, 15 feet tall, and roughly 4,000 pounds dry.  It is currently located in Carrollton, TX, and came out of the Elm Fork Water Treatment Plant (part of Dallas' water processing system) because they're upgrading their equipment.

I started with 6, I broke one through my own stupidity, a storm broke another, I've sold one, given one away, and am lending another to a farm for a couple of years, so I've just got the last one left available.

Please let me know if you have any interest, and perhaps we can make a deal.

Heather, is it that the pump is just too big for the inverter you tried it with (too much amp/wattage draw to get started) or is it because the inverter you have is probably not a true sine wave inverter?

What does the label say about how many amps or how many watts it uses?  Picture is a bit to blurry for me to read.  I checked the Smartpond web site but they don't even have pump curves or electrical usage info about the pump.  Those two things missing from the tech specs tend to make me avoid buying a pump.

FREE FOR WHOEVER WILL PICK UP IN CEDAR PARK, TEXAS!  I just got a chest freezer and one of the pieces of styrofoam would be perfect for floating trays in an aquaponics system.  I don't have any plans for this big of a system so figured I would offer it out.
