Hi Yall! I am currently living in Mississippi. I had the privilege and honor to taken a couple courses under Sylvia and Steve. They definitely sparked a passion in my life. So upon returning from Colorado back down south I changed my career. I enrolled in my local community college to get horticulture pre requisites. Only less than a handful of people have any idea what I did or would like to get involved in. Currently my previous credits and current credits allow me to earn a degree faster in landscape architecture than aquaculture. I would really like to get my hands back in the water, whether its a job, internship, school suggestions, non profit or anyone who would like to start a new business, please contact me! I would be delighted to get involved. I love growing and the would like to do a mass scale plant production greenhouse. I am knowledgeable in design build and safe feeding and fertilization. Thank you for reading:)

With seven comercial aquaponics, aquaculture and hybrids projects in Colombia I was unable to get a work visa (TP4). I must exit this fantastic country this next Thursday.

My proposal is to work gratis, for a while, virtually anywhere in the world. I speak fluent French, English and Spanish, lived several years in English speaking countries and South America. All Agriculture aspects are covered in English. Quite a few specialties like GB 3X6 meters, drum filters, zeolite, to name a few. I'm used to build all the equipments, bio-filters, solids filter, water heaters and coolers, etc.

An other apreciated feature is the produccion of a maximum of the fish feed: Lemnacea, Moringa, Guppies and Tilapias. Wide experience en RAS, Trouts and Tilapias. All climates from 4000 m in the Andes down to central Ecuator and several years in the 1800/2200 altitude.

If you are interested you may contact me through this boards, email: philpauvert@gmail.com or by Skype or Whatsapp.

Hello Everyone,

I am desperately seeking employment in aquaponic farm preferably indoors. I have hobby experience with a 330 gallon tote system. I am seeking a entry level position because I want to learn everything for commercial farming. I am having trouble finding aquaponic farms in the area of NJ, PA. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to find all of the aquaponic facilities in a state? I have tried by state business license, key word search and and I have not been able to locate any?

Hi all,

I am ready to move on to my next adventure in agriculture. Please contact me if you are hiring. I am currently a farm manager in Idaho. We have NFT hydroponics, CHOP1 Aquaponics, and a few other nifty little systems. We also grow outdoors in the soil with several different methods. Looking for a new opportunity and prefer Colorado/Oregon/Washington/Idaho locations.

Message me with your contact info and I will provide my resume and references.

Happy farming!

David

Comment by Rick Janiszewski on July 8, 2015 at 10:19am

Hello Everyone,
My name is Rick Janiszewski I have a beautiful wife "Leeann" and 6 wonderful kids. I have lived in Michigan all my life and love it here. I have been learning about aquaponics since 2009 and believe everyone should have a aquaponic system in there back yard growing there own organic food but who has time for that. This is why we are going to do it for you one town/city at a time.

The Goal is to set up aquaponic greenhouse center in every town/city to be able to feed FRESH Organic fish, fruits and vegetables to EVERYONE in each community every day year round. It does not matter if you are homeless or rich everyone will have organic food to eat every day of there lives.
This will keep ALL of us health from not eating pesticides and insecticides in our food and GMO foods.

I went to the aquaponics professional training Master class on May 6 - May 9 of 2015 :

http://aquaponics.com/page/classes-and-seminars

Once we are up and running in Oxford, MI it will not take long before we will be builing the next center and then the next... I see this getting BIG very fast. There will be hands on training offered at every center for the people that want to do it on your own.

I would say 10 - 12 months we could have are 1st location in Oxford Michigan producing food but my investor wants me to work with aquaponics for 6 months before they will help so if anyone is looking for help in Michigan please give me a call 586-255-2684

does anyone having problems with ammonia being high in their aquaponic system? We have well water and have no softer. All our plants died. So we are getting ready to start up again this spring. We have the same fish and tank as we did last year. I will be starting to check the water today to see where we are at.

Hello All, long time no see. After Bolivian mountains I went to Colombia to build a couple of commercial Aquaponics and RAS Tilapias and Trout Aquaculture plants. The past 6 months I reconditioned a banana packing facility in Mocache Ecuador with  6 X 40" Tilapias fish tanks and 20 3X6 (walk' in) GBs. That was the opportunity to try my integrated RAS system with dual drum filters and zeolite. With full airlifts everything works with air.

Phase 2 comes with extensions and integration with poultry, veals and piglets.

After nearly 23 years in SA I´d like to come up north. If I can be of any help, please contact me.

Hi

My name is John Dawyot. I will be graduating from Penn State University in May and have been working the past couple of years on the aquaponic system we have here, just doing general maintenance, feedings, water changes, etc. I was looking to continue working with aquaponics, preferably in an urban area. I want to attempt to start an aquaponics system in an urban area, but I would really just like to work on a commercial farm. My email is jpd5229@psu.edu. Thanks.

hello.my name is ray, i have been studying aquaponics for 3 years now off you tube...lloll.... i am not lost in its fundamentals .. and workings. i am novice to the chemicals biology but not so much the science of light to energy. I have a great interest in the industry and be willing to travel this summer fir the right deal. i would need housing. a available this summer only. my ksa's. would be hard experinece growing some produce. and good working knowledge ....mechanically on aquaponics, not biology, where im / weaker/. i can be an apprentace in your.. site. my back/ ground is medical billing.. heavy labor construction / 5 years airforce , unfortunately no science or biology degrees. but tough rugged back ground in construction, and good exp with logistics. along with a green thumb touch.
