I work for West Virginia University's Extension Service. Currently we are working on developing a flow through system culturing trout, that also functions aquaponically. The long term goal of the project is to not only find additional profits for West Virginia trout farmers, but also to improve our waste water's quality. We aim to have a net zero effect on use of spring water.

    Thanks, Matthew! lots of helpful info. I certainly don't have as much grow bed as tank and not the seedlings are not going to use up much or enough so I do have to start slow I'm sure. I will soon have my test kit and try to be on my way.

    I'm a researcher at University of Wyoming in addition to owning Bright Agrotech.  I just ran across you.  I'd like to set you up with some towers at some point- both my business partner and I are country kids- and our goal is to make farming more profitable and accessible for young people.  I love that you're working with FFA and if there's anything we can do to help, let me know.  My specialties are agroecology, agronomy, niche markets/marketing and equipment design.
