Koi is edible btw as it is just an inbred carp.A very expensive one at that...lol. Silvers has a two week lead time for any Purina products.I don't have in Tilapia fry as of right now but will be breeding a few once it starts warming up a bit.@ Nicolette any Sunday afternoon is cool just shoot me an email or text. Maxicrop contains Iron or you can use chelated.@ Jonathan let me know when we can set up a meeting out in Boerne.@ Randy and Leisa, Thank you for the plants.I have posted a few images of a magical place I like to refer to as Randyland. A place where all your aquaponic dreams come true, lol.
Thanks Leisa. Those are possibilities we've been exploring. Purina seems to be the best manufacturer for our budget. We were thinking about catfish rather than Tilapia but may even go with Koi although they are not edible.
Thanks, that's good information. Not sure if I'm going to be able to go, though.

Conference is in San Antonio. Nelson & Pade is putting it on. However I don't know if it's a conference or if there just showing there product.
There is an advertisement on the group "TEXAS" that has more info.
it looks like this - sorry I don't know more about it, but it looks like it would be good to check out.

Greetings fellow Aquapons. Just getting started in the San Antonio area. Any pointers for local fish (preferably edibles) and fish food providers. We're running some small aquarium fish but would like to move up the food chain. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Jonathan,
Where is that conference?
Leisa and group,
Here is the link to a really smart fish guy, DIY King UraUJoey. This video shows a very efficient sump tank set up that Jon and I would like to integrate into our system.
Leisa, I don't mind waiting until you have a free Sunday. Let's plan for it!
