I have been running my system off of goldfish for the last year. I would like to get going with tilapia this spring. Is there anywhere in SA or close by that I could buy some from?

Finally received my land survey, this should help me figure out my system layout. :D

Still workin on getting it set up. The old system is still active. We let the papaya tree free so it's gone. It's back to the original set up which Is good. It had just gotten way to big.

yeah, it wont let me post pictures from my phone anymore :(.It was unnecessary to post "this group is dead" just to get people to join meetup and pay those fees.Everything you need to know is right here on this site. I may not be as active as i would like to be on here because... well, I dont have a system right now :( , but its ok I'll have Leisa airmail me some fish, :D Did you guys get the system running at your new place Leisa?Pics please...

@leisannp I'm pretty annoyed at the $5/month dues as well... I know meetup.com costs about $75/year to sponsor a group, but $5/month is a bit extreme to be a part of. I am actually about to just leave the group bc I gots enough bills! I hope they change that. I really miss our meetups, life is just so busy. Hopefully we can do something soon!

Finally. I don't know what happened but the site wouldn't let me comment on anything. I had to re-join. Anyway, I was a little irritated at the dead comment especially since I've been trying to answer comments. I knew Alex deserted us (just giving you a hard time). Now I get an email saying the meet up group is charging a due. Hmm, not sure how I feel about that. Actually a little irritated. I guess I just see this whole group as people helping out people. I have a hard time looking at it for profit since its just fun for me. Hope to talk to you soon Alex.

nope not dead this is primarily a forum to ask questions. I may be gone but i will continue to support and there are plenty members in here who can answer your question. Meetup.com is cool for gathering and meeting like minded individuals but when you have an emergency pop up are you really going to wait till your next meetup to get the answer.

Kim and I are still here. I post pics on facebook periodically. Kim's tomatoes are doing great, we have lots of blooms and green berries on the the strawberries, and lot of greens planted. In the raised bed we have lots of peppers growing and we are building a wicking bed by our green house.
