I use Neem Oil and Spinosad for all insects. You can also use Diatomaceous Earth

Make sure you have good air circulation around your plants, that is vital to keep the spider mites away. Also, you may just be best picking the leaves that the mites are living off of. They thrive in dry, hot, humid environments. Spraying seaweed on your plants will help your plants strengthen causing it difficult for the mites to bite into your crops. Hope this helps!

@ nicolette .I'll definetly be there...Can you email me the address along with a few system specs like system size, media and plants your trying to grow.@ Leisa my ph hovered around 8 during cycling.Let me know if you need more ammonia.

Ok, put in some ammonia and brought it up to 1 ppm, added some more and will check again tomorrow. Looks like my pH shot up to >7.8 now.
