Good afternoon.  My wife and I just moved from Tampa to Summerfield, Marion County ( SE of Ocala).  We have 5 acres, mostly wooded, Plus a pool.  Currently there is a cover on the pool and most of the pool pumps have been vandalized.  Rather than pay for replacement of stolen part and making a clean swimming environment, my wife and I decided to begin an Aquaponics system in the pool.

So, we are looking for suggestions for this experimental project.  Such as what find of floats to we need to make into the grow beds. Do we start the plants first and then add Tilapia and Channel Catfish or vice versa.  Since we are at the START phase, any nd all comments will be appreciated.

I am in Largo..

I haven't been able to get on here due to schedule conflicts, but I'm glad to now have the time to get involved!   

Something about us... We want to get everything setup to start a garden.  I have a 150 Gal Fish tank and 2 55gal drums (Cut in Half) for grow beds.  I am thinking about setting it up with the floating beds (for Cost consideration) .  I am still unclear about the size of Sump tank I will need...

I would appreciate any Ideas??
