Produce Marketing

The truth is you don't make any money growing vegetables.  To make money  you have to sell the vegetables.  At least 80% of a commercial aquaponic farm business has basically nothing to do with aquaponics.  So instead of talking about commercial aquaponics, I want this group to be about selling produce.See More

Jason Stepp replied to patricia duron- okerblom's discussion Grow medium in the group Aquaponics For Beginners
"If you're using a raft system you won't need media in the best just the net pots, and as far as the drilling of holes, I would go for it, if you have a bunch of old pots and want to take the time to do it"

"With media beds there's really no need for using the net pots as they are called you can even put seeds in similar to soil"

Fish-less Systems

This is a group for people who have any kinds of fish-less systems, but yet are not doing classical hydroponics. Where we can share what we have come to find about making-home made nutrients, oganic-hydro, pee-ponics, worm tea hydro, bio-ponics, home-made buffers, water chemistry or anything else that is perhaps inappropriate for fish. As well as experimenting and sharing results for  things that might be alright for our aquatic critters.See More
