Aquaponic Gardening

A Community and Forum For Aquaponic Gardeners

This system is no longer.  There is only a remnant of it left growing some house plants now and providing a handy place to pour excess sample water after using what I need to run tests (no fish.)

But I thought I would share what used to be and I'm rather proud of my ingenuity in putting up the shelves myself.

Here is the point in my big system thread over on BYAP where I started building the Aquarium system

And here I start a thread just for the aquarium system

Again as I get some time I'll put some pictures up and give some explanations if people are interested.

I kinda did away with the indoor stuff because I didn't want to bother arranging for a fish sitter to actually have to come into the house to check on things while we are away and since we are no longer bothering with tilapia, the aquarium is too small but for the smallest of fingerlings.  And the big aquarium developed a leak anyway.

The little aquarium is still in there growing house plants and making house guests have to pee because of the sound of trickling water but no more indoor fish.
