Upgrading Lights on indoor systems

Ok Im going to give this a try.

I have been having trouble with plant growth on my indoor systems. In one raft tank my plants are leggy and weak. I am running a T-5 lighting setup on it.  In the other they just dont grow very fast. the lighting is 2 large MH bulbs but are mounted about 4 ft above the rafts and cannot be adjusted.

so I picked up a 1000 watt grow system with a mh and hps bulb seperate ballast and enclosed tube style hood. I hope this helps with the plant growth. I plugged it in last night and it is 10 times brighter than what I am currently working with so here goes nothing.

You sure it's nto another issues. Light sounds adequate?
