New Build

Ok here goes the start of my new build. I am starting with a 235 gallon tank to house the fish and 2 half barrels for the grow bed. Of course the barrels will be up off the ground above the tank height.

This will be an outdoor setup on the south facing side of my house so the plants will receive full sun from morning till mid afternoon. does anyone have plans for a good bell syphon for use in barrels? I assume that an ebb and flow setup will be the most effective.

Kevin, exciting! Congrats on starting.

I recommend Affnan's designs for bell siphons (google "Affnan"). And/or, if you want to see my version of his design, you can see it in the desktop system at the state fair thru Sunday, or at my place some time.
