What is sealing fish?

Biggest problem would be finding a place to relocate the package too unless one was already living on a large bit of AG land
What is sealing fish?
I'm guessing it's just a spelling mistake...(?)....might of meant ...'selling fish'

I wonder why he's giving up after 2 years ? Maybe they were just raising fish....and no plants.
I'm sure he was only raising fish as it appears to be only a recirculating aquaculture system, said nothing of any plant growing facilities.

I would expect that it is hard to make a living selling something for .75-1 dollar that people can also just go net out of a pond or canal.

And then he most certainly had a high electric bill with the blowers and pumps and then the past two winters were so cold that he would have had to heat the greenhouse or the water a little to ensure they would have stayed alive (he is located North of me) and if he wanted them growing through the winter he would have needed to heat more than that. And of course the feed prices have been going up constantly over the past two years.

Without any of the value adding or extensive research into a market nitch, just starting up an aquaculture operation off the cuff is not likely to do well around here. He probably just found it too hard to sell the fish to really make any money on it. (Without a processing facility, ya don't get to compete with the cheap fillets from asia even if you did the cost...)

This might be a deal on equipment for some one who already has the business plan in place and the research done on a nitch but with the some of that equipment, some extra money would be getting spent on some things not needed for AP and other things would still be needed.
