Aquaponic Gardening

A Community and Forum For Aquaponic Gardeners

Boston city is currently going through a re-zoning process to accommodate commercial urban agriculture in the city, which was previously prohibited. I have been going to the work group meetings at the City Hall where they are working out a lot of the issues. I think it will be interesting to see how this development will affect the economics of the supply of produce to local retailers and businesses. The working group meetings have attracted a lot of attention from local farmers, evangelists, and also those that are against the idea of farming in the city. Assuming that the re-zoning process will be successful, will this be enough to revolutionize the supply of organic and local produce in Boston city? What are your views?
