Wish to visit commercial aquaponics businesses in California and Colorado

I'm a new member here, and excited to join you!  Thanks for all the good work and discussion. I live in Denver so look forward to meeting some of you in the area - including Sylvia Bernstein.

I have a new company called Brave New World, LLC that will be developing small eco-communities that will fit in urban areas. We will begin developing these communities in Colorado. These communities will include vertical farms (multi-story growing areas). I believe aquaponics will be a backbone for the systems in these farms. So I am learning about aquaponics and looking for aquaponics systems that can be made to stack well in multiple floors. 

I and my daughter Kari-Lise and her friend (both of whom are in college studying horticulture and business) will be doing a roadtrip to California starting next weekend. It will be a mix of business, family, and pleasure. If possible, I wish to visit some commercial aquaponics businesses in central and/or southern California. I am also wanting to visit commercial aquaponics operations here in Colorado and surrounding states.

Any suggestions and contact info for me?

Greg, we are having an open house here on Dec 10, so if you are in CO then please come up to Boulder and visit us!  JD Sawyer of Colorado aquaponics (a member here) might be able to connect you up with some local commercial operations as well as seeing what he has done with Growhaus in Denver.

Hello Chi Ma! (or other person who can assist)  I am trying to contact the people at Santa Cruz Aquaponics and am only able to post on their wall on Facebook. Does anybody have an email address or phone number for someone at Santa Cruz Aquaponics? I would like to visit them during a trip to California next week.  Please advise, Thanks!  Greg

Thanks, Peter. Did you mean you "can't speak for SC (Santa Cruz) Aquaponics"?  Thanks for the offer to visit your aquaponics installations at Cabrillo College. I may be in touch on that. Cheers!  Greg

We (cabrillo college in Aptos, just south of Santa Cruz) have 2 systems running, one is outdoors using the low density Friendlies system with Koi, rafts with lettuce. Another indoors in the UVI model, just applying for permit to have catfish but its currently being pumped up with koi.

Hello Sylvia! I just returned yesterday from a trip to California which included us visiting 2 aquaponics operations. (And I read much of your book while traveling!)
