How do you all handle snails?

They clog my pump

get some yo-yo loaches, they will take care of most pest snails.

Richard,

we set up a small air lift pump in our sump with a mesh bag attached to the outlet. Water pumps from the bottom, flows though the bag and returns to the sump. Seems to be working, our pump has been clogging a lot less frequently.

if it is in your sump, get some clown loaches from the pet store, they will eat the snails

Or red ear sunfish, also called shell-crackers, and eat them when they're big. Mmmm
