smilies and no still on my videos

I've noticed lately that I can't click on the smilies to put them in the discussions (still work in the chat though)

 

Also last few videos I've put up only use the generic picture instead of a still from the video.  I've tried using both the Youtube link as well as the embed code that just changes which generic picture I get.
