I started messing around with tilapia 2006-2010

2010 - the end of july i had to take  my system down

i am currently trying to get a piece of property to set up a scaled system.

basickly i dont have a system that is running

but i want to share my last 4 years with aquaponics

with members.......

Looks like you need a taller structure over the plants as they are getting big.

looks ok not 100%
if i can help with tips i will but i am still an apprentice at this
and am still learning as i go along.
my bigger pilot project taught me a lot but i never really kept records
this time much smaller system and i can tell you what i added and when

I even know how many fish in this system.....with my bigger system i lost count very early

Hi Francois

What system are you using to oxidise ammonia to nitrate? can you describe the system? and are you planting only in floating rafts? Thank you for your input.

at the moment it is my worm filter

for now only flouting rafts

when i get time i want to add stones 35-50mm in the growtrays

i want to have stones in the grow trays and flout if it works

fish tank and bio filter / worm sump in front of tank

media in my filter...i dont really like

i think i will change this media later

What kind of worms in the filter are they?
Are they red earth worms you have placed in the filter? can they survive only on fish waste?
