I have set up my system and it contains a couple of unique features. One of the problems that AP growers face is that if you are cycling water into two large cinder beds, the water should be alternated in order to avoid a large drop in water level in either the sump tank or the main tank. I have created a two-tank system that allows consistent water level in my main tank, and a minimal drop in water level in my sump tank (where I grow my babies).
Through the use of an alternating mechanism, I am able to alternate the water to each grow bed, thereby eliminating the need for a bell siphon while creating the same effect.
Check out my video. I will post more videos when my cycling is done and plants are in full growth.
