Does anyone have any experience with growing bell peppers using aquaponics in a greenhouse. theorhetically I should be able to produce all year but I would like to hear some of the successes and problems encountered by other growers. Also does anyone here know how much shiping and packaging bells for local markets cost. Not to mention marketing in these areas.

I know Jim Tinker grows peppers in aquaponics in a greenhouse. He is a member here though he isn't as active here as over on BYAP. He is in NC.
I have done it, although I wouldn't call it real successful. Aphids just love peppers. My system has been operating for about 7 months, and maybe that has been part of the problem. The system is still new and maybe it hasn't quite matured yet. Anyway, I have grown peppers. The peppers taste like peppers, and the aphids seem to love these plants.
have you tried ladybugs and earwigs. are there any other organic solutions to aphids.

I raised bell peppers quite well. Each plant produced 4 peppers & were growing and blooming when the freeze got them...I didn't know it was going to get that cold overnight....OH WELL !!
