got ibc tote from work

I have access to 1000L ibc totes for free but they were used to hold def (diesel exhaust fluid). I know that it is urea and water. The msds does not list any other chemicals in it. Just wondering if the totes are ok to use.

I'm new to AP and I don't know much about chemistry, but doing quick research about DEF on Wikipedia (yeah, I know) leads me to believe that it should be safe. DEF is apparently 32.5% urea and 67.5% water. It's my understanding that urea is actually helpful in starting AP systems (see "peeponics"). I would check to see if the brand of DEF in your IBC totes have any other additives, but otherwise I would use them.
