Crazy Strawberry Question

I want to grow strawberries in towers.  I don't want to conitually run my pump.  Is it possible?  How?

Jay, if you have something like a coir mix in your towers, you could go hours at a time, without the pump 'on'. Of course, the time depnds on the tower's size, the mix, how big your plants are, and your weather in your area.

We have strawberrys in verti-gro's at Sahib Aquaponics. We use coir with small mieralwool cubes mixed in. The pump runs maybe 5 or 6 times a day.

Coir is coconut fiber.
