Bamboo shrimp in a tank

I am thinking of getting some bamboo shrimp for my new tank once a little more mature. I know these guys filter feed from particulates in the water...and AP tanks are full of those,lol.

Has anybody usedthese guys before? any luck? this will be in a peaceful tank by the way mostly ghost shrimp & SMALL fish...lots of snails.

Sounds like they require a salt water phase if you are going to breed them.
