I had an adventurous day (and amusing from my wife's,perspective).

I found another bullfrog in th FT. I got set to nail it with my pellet gun. It seemed to see or hear me coming, so I settled in into a sniper position. First shot hit, but by the time I ran ran around the pool, it was gone. It popped up at very frequent like 5 minute intervals in almost the same area so I knew it was hurt.

Now you you have to imagine me sitting on the concrete patio peeking over a growled looking for the little devil....Sure enough the head came up and I drew a bead. What I failed to take into comsideration was the difference in scope level and the barrel. Sure enough, I fired and popped a hole about a 1/2 inch below the top of my IBC. To make matters worse, I did the same thing later on in the afternoon. his all lead to my wife getting a big kick out of things.

I knew I had scored a cole hits because the frog climbed ut of the pool and sat on the very edge. Sot him... The fund glanced and punched a hole right through my growled drain line. It is now overhead. Th a piece of duct tape which added even mor to the wife's amusement.

I did hit the frog again and it flopped over, but I could not, run around th pool fast enough to grab it before it got not the water.

Moral of the story? Bullfrogs are tough bastards and DON'T tell your spouse about shooting one until you have it in hand. And CERTAINLY don't tell her about the holes because you hadn't thought about how a scope is 2 inches above the barrel....
